Molly 9 Months
I can't believe my baby girl is 9 months old! Wow, time flies. Molly is an amazing baby, such an angel. I took her to her 9 month check up (with the boys!) and here are her stats:
Weight: 17lbs 5oz (25%)
Height: 27 1/4 in (50%)
Head: 43.5cm (40%)
Here's what she's up to:
*She goes to bed around 8, wakes up at 5:30 to eat, goes back down until about 7.
*She takes a morning nap and and afternoon nap (when we let her...it's so hard with #3)
*She can now clap, wave, and do SOOO big
*She is SO stubborn. Will not take a bottle, will not eat baby food. She has started to eat finger foods which include; puffs, bread, crackers, deli meat, really any carbs that have a dry texture. She will not touch vegetables no matter how you serve them. The only fruit I have found that she likes is watermelon.
*And her most recent accomplishment is cruising... she will cruise around the coffee table, couch, really anything that she can.
I love this stage and want her to stay in it for a LONG time!

Family Fun
August 6, 2010 (wow, I'm a slacker)
In hopes of getting Andrew excited about soccer we decided to go the the AC St. Louis Soccer Game. We met my brother, Christina, Josie, and the Pacifico family there. Before the game the kids ran around and kicked the ball on the practice field (thank goodness I had the "head coach" balls in the back of the car:)).
I was surprised at how well everyone did at game time. I had Molly in the Bjorn and the rest of the kids did a great job of focusing on the game while climbing around and eating snacks. It was the perfect way to spend a Friday night, especially for $3 a ticket!
August 14: Drew's parent's came to visit.
Saturday they took the boys to Lowes while Molly napped to do a Build and Grow Activity. The project was a bug box. Love these pictures.
They also stopped by Toys R Us to get Andrew's birthday present. Paw Paw and Andrew spend the rest of the afternoon putting together his Lego house.
Then that evening, Drew, his parents, Andrew, John and Blake went to the Ram's Preseason game. It was a big deal for Drew's parents because Sam Bradford went to OU and they are big OU fans. It was a late night for my little man but everyone had a great time.
Sunday was great. Drew's parents let us go to church ALONE! Can't remember the last time we heard every word of the mass. What a treat. Then we hung out and enjoyed our time with them. It was a great visit.

Big Boys at the Cards Game
The day after Andrew's birthday party, Drew and John took Andrew and Blake to the Cardinal game. To their surprise it was also Build A Bear day so both boys got a little bear with an Ozzie jersey. Drew said they kept the boys entertained by letting them take pictures and getting ice cream. They saw a great game...a Pujols homer....and had a great time.

Camp Pacifico/Soccer Mom
This will be a good test of my memory. I have been slacking on blog updates and now I have to think back.
So we had Andrew's birthday party on July 31st and then that night we took the whole family to the Pacifico's house for our inaugural Camp Pacifico party. They just moved closer to us and have a great house with pool and lots of TVs so we decided to call it Camp Pacifico because "there's something for everyone." We even had T-shirts made. Here we all are with our shirts on. Once again Drew came through with the tripod.
After the picture we headed out to the yard for some soccer. A little back story...All the parents got an email from Ascension Soccer saying 100 boys signed up fro Pre K soccer and 0 coaches signed up, would anyone be interested? I thought it would be bad if I didn't offer to help since I do have a bit of a soccer background. John Pacifico agreed to be my assistant which is awesome and Blake and Andrew get to be on the same team. I didn't think much of being the coach until I started getting FLOODED with emails the week before Andrew's party. I was a little overwhelmed by everything that had to be done but it's all coming together and most importantly I'm hoping Andrew and the rest of the Pre K boys have an awesome "first" soccer experience. So back to the point, we played a little soccer with the kids until they started to melt.
Then it was time to jump in the pool!
After some swimming we had a delicious steak dinner and a few Pacificos...Camp Pacifico wouldn't be complete without the appropriate beverage.
Thanks for a great time and MANY more to come.

Phineas and Ferb
Phineas and Ferb is the theme Andrew chose for his 5th birthday party. Here is a picture of the invitations we sent out.
I spent the week after our trip getting ready for the big party. Sunday, Drew and Andrew ordered the cake from our favorite bakery/doughnut shop. Then the rest of the week I planned activities and got all the supplies. I looked online and at party stores before our vacation for Phineas and Ferb party supplies. The only place I found them said they would not be available until October! Then I found some on ebay but they were quadruple the price of regular party plates. So a friend of mine suggested making Phineas and Ferb plates using clear plates with a picture of the show attached to the bottom.
So I went to work, taping print outs of Phineas and Ferb onto the bottom of plates. Then I took a scene from a few different episodes and planned art projects around those.
Alien episode: We made alien Antenna
Jelly fish episode: We made Jelly Fish
Music episode: We made tambourines
Perry in disguise episode: We made disguise glasses
Space episode: The bounce house
Andrew's party was at 10am on Saturday, July 31. He and Drew went to get donuts about 6:30 and to pick up the cake. The cake wasn't ready so I asked Drew to get some balloons. He decided it would be best to get helium and our own balloons. He tried Walgreens first but they didn't sell them. Then he went to Walmart. You are not going to believe what he found! An entire party section for Phineas and Ferb! When he called me, I couldn't decide if I should be excited or cry. He had also drawn a Phineas and Ferb on poster board for decorations since we couldn't buy any. So he ended up getting a package of foil balloons, cake plates, napkins, and a banner.
For lunch I had pbj, pretzels, apples, carrots, and juice boxes. The cake turned out awesome and tasted great too. I think everyone had a great time. Of course I went overboard on the crafts. I should have considered that all the boys would want to do was play cars, trucks, bounce, and play on the play set outside. I did have a few takers on the crafts and I can always use the stuff to keep my kids busy on raining days. Better to be over prepared than not prepared. It was a great party with great friends and family.
He got some great gifts. A few people found Phineas and Ferb toys and books, my brother got him his first pair of soccer cleats and shin guards, he got a few Toy Story toys, Legos, flip car, dinosaur set, and a P&F shirt. Andrew has a great group of friends with wonderful parents.
