Friday (June 24) we went to the Cardinal game with Andrew's baseball team. It was Chesterfield Baseball Night at the Ball Park. Andrew got to parade around the field with his team. Then we stayed for the game. We decided to take the whole fam and just leave when everyone started to melt down. Everyone was having such a great time that we didn't end up getting home from the game until after 10. The game was still going on when we left but I'm pretty sure the kids were enjoying their friends and game food and had lost interest in the game by the time we left.
Saturday, we had Andrew's friend Charlie and his family over for dinner. It was a really fun, low key night. They kids had a great time while the adults were able to enjoy adult conversation. We decided to keep it simple and just order pizza which everyone seemed to enjoy. (We had so much fun, I forgot to take pictures:))
Sunday, we had a Kindergarten picnic to meet some of the new kids and families that will be going to school with Andrew next year. I thought it was a great set up because the kids could play on the playground and the adults were still able to keep an eye on them while we stayed in the picnic area. It had rained earlier that day and was super muddy which the kids loved but we had some major shoe cleaning to do when we got home.
